About JIPR@

Ever since the termination of the war, Japan has stepwise rebuilt its once-lost national strength on the foundations of economic power to be eventually a leading country holding notable impact over the global market, with the second-largest gross world product following the U.S., which accounts for one-sixth of the total volume all over the world.

As far as being a part of major force, our country, with having a solid outlook on the world, must set forth guidelines of our national management based on profound understanding of specific history and tradition of our country.

Nevertheless, I keenly felt the deficiency of both private and government institutions where such basic policy was to be researched and made up; thus, I have established Japan Institute of Policy Research.  Our intention is study and establishment of the governmentfs basic policy as well as settlement of global issues including poverty, conflicts and environmental disruption, teamed up with research organizations worldwide.  We trust our activities aiming at coexistence in peace and prosperity will help to lead the human issues to settlement.  Here I would like to express my gratitude for your understanding our positive objects as well as continuous and greater support of evolving JIPR.
