Role
The Chief Cabinet Secretary manages Cabinet conferences to expedite the
proceedings. Also, the Secretary takes a role of public relation service
for the government. Moreover, the Secretary corresponds with representatives
from various political groups who are in charge of making counterplans for
the national diet. The secretary is also responsible to keep up to date
with the activities of each ministry. The Secretary's most important role,
however, is to provide full support to the Prime Minister. |
